Her voyage Story #16 of WIMA Korea - Then and Now
Share her journey of KIMFT Professor, MIN JUNG(정민)
- After graduating from Korea Maritime & Ocean University(KMOU) in 2001, she embarked on a LPG carrier as a third officer. She began her graduate studies at KMOU in 2003 while working as a second officer on the training ship HANNARA. As soon as she completed the doctoral program in 2008, she was hired as a deputy ship surveyor by the Korea Register. She joined the Korean Institute of Maritime and Fisheries(KIMFT) in 2011 with a big dream of making a good influence on the maritime society, and she is still working as a professor of KIMFT today.
Now, she is serving as WIMA Korea's Vice president. She considers it a great honor.
